“Taste of Miyagi,” a food fair promoting one of the Tohoku prefectures impacted by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, is being held from Jan. 26 to Feb. 5 at Mitsuwa Marketplace locations across the U.S.

Shoppers sampled and purchased a variety of products, from seafood to sembei to sweets. Other store locations include Irvine, Costa Mesa, Northridge, San Gabriel, Santa Monica, San Diego, San Jose, Honolulu, Chicago, New York, New Jersey and Plano, Texas. The last Miyagi fair was held before the pandemic.
