SAN MARINO — The Grateful Crane Ensemble and the Taiko Center of Los Angeles will present a kid-friendly morning of Japanese theater and music on Saturday, July 11, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino.

Entitled a “Journey to Japan,” the hour-long performance will be held at the brand-new Robert C. Cast members include Haruye Ioka, Keiko Kawashima, Darrell Kunitomi, Kurt Kuniyoshi, Helen H. Ota and Scott Nagatani on piano.

This will be followed by a taiko presentation by the Rev. Tom Kurai and members of the Taiko Center of Los Angeles.

The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens is located at 1151 Oxford Rd. in San Marino. Tickets for “Journey to Japan” are $10 for Huntington members and $20 for non-members.
