fushion fridaysPASADENA — USC Pacific Asia Museum’s 2014 season of Fusion Fridays continues June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Each evening is free for museum members and $15 for non-members. Cocktail or Asian attire is encouraged for this indoor and outdoor adult event.

The evenings include guest DJs spinning in the courtyard, a cash bar featuring Angel City Brewery beers, prizes, and L.A.’s best food trucks in the museum’s adjacent parking lot, with special performances and activities each evening as listed below.

Fusion Fridays take art + entertainment to a new level by keeping the museum doors open late and bringing diverse performances and ethnic foods for the community to enjoy.

Tickets can be purchased at http://fusionfridays2014.eventbrite.com.

Fusion Fridays are made possible by Toyota Financial Services, Angel City Brewery, media sponsor KPCC, and official check-in sponsor Yelp.

??June 20 — Take part in some traditional Indian festivities, then enjoy a Tibetan folk dance performance along with a lesson.

? July 18 — Listen to Korean drums and gongs, then stand back for a samurai reenactment and photo ops.

? Aug. 15 — Enjoy a night of dance and live music by Bedouin X as the museum gears up for an exhibition of contemporary art from the Middle East and the closing night of Fusion Fridays.
