“Helen served as the ar-tistic director for 19 years. Her solid leadership expanded Cold Tofu to the strong and remarkable organiza-tion that it is today,” said Lee. “I look forward to building on her legacy and continuing to raise the vis-ibility of Asian Americans in comedy and entertain-ment, while keeping the presence and connection to the community strong and vibrant.”

“As a former board member, it was a pleasure working with Scott. He was dedicated to providing Cold Tofu with the support it needed to excel as an arts and community orga-nization,” said Lau. “I am excited to see what Kim and Dawn will achieve as our new leaders.”

Sponsored by Fukui Mortuary and the Japanese American National Museum. Admission to the event is $25 and will include dinner, hosted bar and a dessert reception.

The evening’s master of ceremo-nies is David Ono of ABC7 Eyewit-ness News with performances by Cold Tofu Improv, Fob Four and other special musical guests.
