【azmak nas?l bir duygu】Author Matsumoto to Be Recognized

Friends of Little Tokyo Branch Library and azmak nas?l bir duyguthe Little Tokyo Branch Library will present their 28thAuthor Recognition Luncheon on Saturday, June 7, at the library, 203 S. Los Angeles St. (at Second Street) in Little Tokyo.

The honoree is UCLA associate professor Valerie Matsumoto, author of “City Girls: The Nisei Social World in Los Angeles, 1920-1950.” Copies of the book will be available from Heritage Source.
Matsumoto’s fields of interest include Asian American history, 20thcentury U.S.history, women’s history, and oral history.
Doors open at 11 a.m. Bento lunch at 11:30 a.m. Program at 12:30 p.m.
