PASADENA — USC Pacific Asia Museum will hold the fourth annual Lunar New Year Festival on lihat video lucah puasaSaturday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. celebrating the Year of the Horse.

Admission to the event, performances, crafts, demonstrations, and museum galleries is free and open to the public.

Performance Schedule

11 a.m.: Lion dance by Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Association

11:15 a.m: Pasadena Unified School District’s Field Elementary Mandarin immersion students

12 p.m.: Zhejiang Song and Dance Theatre Company

1:30 p.m.: Acrobatic balancing by Shasha Luo

2 p.m.: Traditional Vietnamese dance by Lac Hong Performing Arts Group

2:30 p.m.: Drumming by Taiko Center of L.A.

3 p.m.: Traditional Korean folk dance by Jung Im Lee Korean Dance Academy

3:30 p.m.: Taekwondo by Xplore TKD Demo Team

Inside the museum:

Ongoing: Crafts (courtyard) and Chinese flower arrangements (auditorium)

12:30 p.m.: Flower arranging demonstration (auditorium)

1 p.m.: Docent tour of the museum (meet at the front desk)

3 p.m.: Flower arranging demonstration (auditorium)

3 to 5 pm: Book-signing by artist Jennifer Wood (bookstore)

The museum is located at 46 N. Los Robles Ave. in Pasadena and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Current exhibitions: “Ralli Quilts: Contemporary Textiles from Pakistan” in the Focus Gallery (closes March 2) and “Focus on the Subject: The Art of the Harari Collection” in the Frank and Toshie Mosher Gallery of Japanese Art (closes March 30).

Exhibitions in the permanent collection: “The Art of Pacific Asia” in the new Orientation Gallery, “The Arts of Korea” in the new Gallery of Korean Art, and “The Arts of China” in the Ralph and Angelyn Riffenburgh Gallery.
