? Army veteran Cory Shiozaki. Born in Chicago and raised in Gardena, he joined the Army in 1969 and was assigned to an armored battalion after completing basic training. After completing his jungle training, he was reassigned to Fort McArthur in San Pedro as a radio broadcast specialist. After completing his active service, Shiozaki continued to serve in the Army Reserves until 1975.
