The documentary “Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story” will be screened on Wednesday, March 11, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 100, Los Angeles.

The event will mark the fourth anniversary of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan.

Opening remarks will be given by former Japanese Ambassador to the U.S. Ichiro Fujisaki, co-chairman of the Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund.

A Q&A session with Regge Life, director and producer of the documentary, will be held after the screening. A networking reception will follow.

No RSVP necessary. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Taylor Anderson was an extraordinary American who dedicated herself to teaching Japanese children, living her dream right up to the events of March 11, 2011.

She was the first confirmed American casualty of disaster that struck northeastern Japan. As part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme, she spent 2? years teaching English to kindergarten, lower school and junior high school students in the coastal city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture. She was last seen helping and reassuring her students.
